The rain in spain

There is this fabulous older lady at my church that I just love talking with. Her accent combined with her awesome church hats just make my week. I especially love that she calls me "darling" and says "o.k. darling" practically after each sentence. Love it. When do I get to start wearing feather hats to church? Is there an age? Or can I just start now? I've already got a few great broche hats that I'm dying to pop a couple of feathers in.....
