Mother's day.
Years ago it was one of heartbreak, bitterness and disappointment towards what I felt I was being robbed of. Now it's a time that I not only am immensely overwhelmed with love for my kids but also towards their birthmoms. I would not be a mom without them. They passed their title to me and did it willingly and lovingly. To me they are the standard of motherhood--selfless, ever mindful of the bigger picture and full of unconditional love. Happy mother's day to them. You are always in my heart and will always be apart of my family.
