You can say any fool thing to a dog, and the dog will give you this look that says, `My God, you're RIGHT! I NEVER would've thought of that!

Needless to say, Alex was VERY excited to see Eli and Jackson early early this morning (abt 1am). He went from droopy tired to full on energy mode and couldn't stop pointing and laughing and saying "whose that". It was pretty sweet. Alex has yet to say "Eli"though. Which is so weird because ever since he left home his main point of conversation is Eli. Maybe his Eli isn't who we all think it is after all....

The dogs weren't too overly thrilled after a while. I think they realized that their competition for Jacob's attention had just arrived but they patiently tolerated Alex's jabbing and his nonsensical noises. However, since their reunion with him, they've avoided him altogether.
