Alex has always been a jibber-jabber talker with a few smattering of decernable words but the past few days he's gone into major mimic mode. In addition clearly recognizable hi, bye, hot, cold, mama, daddy, papa (which sometimes means grandpa), no (his favorite word by far), yup, yes, Eli, doggy, thank you, jesus, and wow wow, here are his latest and greatest in the works words:
- nampa= grandpa
- nama= grandma
- shat= you figure it out (i only used it once at 3am when he fell off my bed--i swear)
- baw= ball or bird (you just need to see what he's pointing at)
- cruck= car and/or truck
- crapa= no, not what you think, it means cracker
- see yaw= see ya (he's really good at this one now, just extends out the "a" is ya)
- caw caw= chicken --he makes the sound of the chicken instead
Little by little he gets closer and closer to the actual pronunciation of the words. Needless to say, we've been having fun introducing him to new words.
