I am on the hunt for some awesome rainboots. That's right people, I have decided to start my fashion with more practical items that will in reality be used in Alaska quite often (unlike the beautiful peasant/Mexican embroidered blouses I picked up at the beginning of the summer only for it to NOT summer here in Alaska--they taunt me with visions of sunshine and warm days everytime I step into my closet). Anywho. Rainboots. Lay them on me.

I saw some boots like this at the nordstrom half yearly sale last week.
I actually got these boots! I saw them on Urban Outfitters. The only sucky thing is I have to return them because their size 8 is more like a 7.5 and my big feet can't handle that.
