Today is Jake's 30th Birthday! Whoa! 30? Yup that's right...at the peak of the hill...well not really because people live to like 90 now. So what is planned for today? Or should I say WAS planned since Jake is stuck in Juneau because the flight he was supposed to take last night got delayed to the point that the crew and captain timed out on their shift and couldn't fly...yeah brilliant. So let me detail what WOULD have happened had Alaska Airlines been competent:
Breakfast:German Pancakes w/ pear cinnamon sauce
Sausage
Strawberries and Grapes
BYU Football Game
General pampering & doting
No lunch because ideally we would still be stuffed from breakfast!
Dinner:
Korean BBQ (details later with pictures if it actually happens)
So happy birthday my love! Hopefully we'll get to actually celebrate it today (keep your fingers crossed that his flight for today doesn't get "delayed" too).
