That's a new one...even for you

I got asked whether I was Indonesian. Intriguing. That is a new one for the "Are you (fill in ethnicity here)?" I do love playing the guess what I am game. Usually I just answer "No" then let them ask over and over the Are You... question to see what they come up with. Rarely does anyone ever get a portion of my ethinicity correct.

I think up until this last encounter my favorite was "Are you Cherokee Indian?" by a janitor cleaning a Target bathroom. Turns out he was. Guess people see what they want to see, right? Though the lady who asked me if I was Indonesian was a white, literally lives in a trailer, trash woman. Explain where her train of thought came from...
